Today is the first time I have posted on this site for over 13 days. I could make a lot of excuses or I could just enjoy being able to write about how fantasitc it was to see my fellow master course friends on friday night and also how I have eaten a sausage roll smothered in garlic butter and realised that I had a loneliness issue I was not dealing with.
I felt sad and lonely at not being able to see them for a few months and chose to replace the loss I felt with food. Now I know I can replace the loss with the enjoyment of arranging a new meetiing for in the new year and that I can also see my friends in london when I take my son to his Nana there is more choice for me.
I have also made the decision to sell my moped, pay for my driving lessons and also my 2 tests. Since I have made that decision I have had more interest in my bike than when I wanted to sell it to buy a faster bike. It is right for me to sell this and pass my full test.
I also had so much fun yesterday at the pyramids and found that when we were on our way home last night I spoke very much to the man in Sub-Way about how good I had only just realised I had not been concerned about how people thought when they saw me. I was running.....yeah running...up the steps to the blue and green water shoots and also chasing my son around the water....and felt so proud when my son decided it was his time to actually swim for a whole minute without the bottom of the pool or me to hold me....wow such a great day for my brother who completed his first ever great south run on 2hours and 35 minutes.
What a brilliant week.

I have found out that a small amount of coffee powder in the water for the porridge mix gives the porridge an almost toffee taste. Also the summer berry water mix added to the porridge also makes it really rather sweet. So I have had one coffee and one tea with milk in and liked them less than black coffee. I really enjoy having milk for the next 7 days in my coffee as I prefer that to drinking it direct. My tastes have changed for coffee now. hee hee Well Today is the last of my 3 meals a day for 7 days as I will be on the sole source plus meal plan where I can have 4 meals + 200ml of skimmed milk or 3 meals + a cooked meal of chicken, fish, tofu + veg up to a total calorific value of 200. I chose the milk option so I can have a costa coffe skinny late Grande at least once over the next 7 days!!! Today I have received a lot of compliments about how well I am looking and how close I am to my target. I have even refered my dentist to my CD counsellor as he is on Lighter Life and has slowed his weight reduction right down. He was very interested in the meall packs and the flavours so maybe he will switch to CD. I have been out and about today in my new size 16 jeans and wearing a size 16 top I had at the back of my wardrobe for a few years. I was walking taller and the smile is so much bigger now. I want to add a photo today and will wait until thursday as this will be as per my keys to achievable outcome strategy. Well last night we went to asda shopping and I thought I would get some jeans in readiness for me clearing out my wardrobe next weekend. I tried them on last night and woohoo did they look great on me!!!!!! Today I am slightly disappointed and also angry as my son's new bed was due to be delivered today. When I phoned up to confirm the time I was told the details from the supplier had not been updated and though his side table to attach to the bed was due to be delivered by 6th october the bed was still down as being at supplier warehouse. Well my weight is now 14st 2lbs with a reduction of 4lbs this week. My target for my 12th week weigh in was 13st 1lbs at a weekly reduction of 4.7lbs. So with a reduction of 1st 1lb by next week I will be back right on centre and aim for 4.7lb a week reduction or a reduction of 6lb a week to reach my goal weight by 31st december. So today I have advertised my baby bike for sale on ebay so I can then use the money from that towards my bigger bike. As it has low mileage I should be able to get between £700 and £800 for it. And I am wearing my son's Bart Simpson brace's to hold up my jeans and trousers as they are now slipping off woohoo and oopth! |
