Well my weight onmy own scales this morning was 16st 1lbs so spent the day on a high prepared for a difference on the counsellors scales due to the evening weigh in. I have lost 3lbs this week. Jannines scales showed me to be 16st 6lbs so Iave now lost 5lbs. The good news is the weight loss has increased and the great news is I LOST 3LBS WOOOHOOOO!!!!!!!!!
I have borrowed a few tips of my friend and for the last 2 days I have drunk 6 litres of water. all before 6pm. I have not had any urge to nibble either last night or tonight. And I have also taken my shakes later in the day rather than first thing when I wake up. It does make a differnece the amount of water taken. And also having chewing gum to halt the breath monster is not as good as carrying a small bottle of mouth wash where ever you go.
I have noticed a difference in my clothes....well ok 2 dresses and my jimmie jammies....and one pair of jeans that does not cut me in half when I sit down anymore. It feels great to know that in 2 more weeks time there will be even more of a difference and I also get measured. My own tape measure is telling me I have lost nearly 6 inches on my hips and waist so it is all heading in the right direction.
I worked out how much I need to lose each week to achiev my goal of 9st by New Years Eve 2008 and that is 4.7lbs. My next target for the 12 week weigh and measure on 2nd October 2008 would be 13st 1lbs as long as I stay on target of 4.7lbs a week. So For this to happen I will continue with the 6 litres as this really does seem to have made a difference.
I feel really calm and focused about life as well. It feels as though I am now seeing clearly for the first time in years....well since I was 16 is what I get given. My eyesight has improved since completing the NLP Master Practitioner course (check out www.certainchange.co.uk for further information about the NLP courses) in june this year. My friends blog (www.mycambridgelife.co.uk) started out with him saying how much he missed eating....as I look on the shakes as food I am missing the tastes such as freshly cooked bread with melting spread on it or the taste of the meat sauce going over the pasta...and I am so glad I am not eating them as I will never reach my goal. I have set my sights on my goal and have a very clear picture of how I will look at 9st. i now have 22 weeks before my big night out and am sooo focused on getting there that I am happily choosing to have my foodpacks and leave the cooked food to my son and my mum.

Yesterday was a very intense day for me as I had a client with me for nearly 3 hours. It was a very successful session for the client and also for me. I enjoyed going in th epool with my son in the afternoon as well. I'm walking on sunshine woohoo! The beach was soooo nice to walk along today. The coffee shop was full inside and out on the decking and patio with people all out enjoying the lovely warm shade and glorious reflection of the sparkling sea on the drinks. The chatter was friendly and the giggling from the beach side toddlers pool music on the ears. WOW! I have had an incredible weekend. The sun ahs been shining all weekend and temps have reached over 28. It is sooo great outside. Yesterday my 8yr old niece came round for the day and both my son and her were in the paddling pool. I was creating cakes and gingerbreads in the kitchen in the morning and in the afternoon We all made home made chiken nuggets and chips. I was fantastic. Today has been a really easy day. I know the diet will be like this from now on. I have not felt hungry today and have actually reminded myself it is time to eat something. Cutting up the bars may have helped on this. I have been really busy around the kitchen creating lobster salad....sweet and sour prawns and BBQ chicken legs. When I first started this diet I thought I would not want to cook at all and even told mum that sometimes she may have to cook her own evening meals. Now I know my enjoyment of cooking and baking has cleared and increased as I am no longer cooking or baking because I am hungry. I have lost 2lbs woohoo! :oD I have been expecting this amount and have achieved it yay me. I hope next week to lose 5lbs and to keep it at a steady 5lbs - 7lbs a week. I get weighed tomorrow woohoo! :oD Today has been a fruitful day as I have achieved a lot personally. I also found the fruits of the forest shake and the vanilla shake to be just as nice as the other shakes I have Tasted so far. Today has been a great day and a good day. The great was I am in Ketosis so the fat in my body is now being used up to provide energy for me. I also found 2 more shales I like with the Toffee & Walnut and the Chocolate Orange. I had the Spicy Tomato again today and made it up with the blender and it tasted really good as all the powder had been dosilved and mised in this time. |
